Shure Incorporated – Evanston to Niles, IL
Shure Incorporated is the world leader in development and production of microphones and audio mixing equipment (www.shure.com). After 50 years in Evanston, and needing space for expansion, Shure purchased an 18.8-acre parcel in Niles, IL including the seven-story, steel and glass Atrium Building. This 233,000 square foot building, designed by award-winning architect Helmut Jahn, has become Shure’s World Headquarters and Technology Center. This building is destined for U.S. Landmark status.

Cavolick Consulting Group (CCG) was selected as Project Manager for completion of tenant improvements in the Headquarters Building and for construction of an additional 67,000 square foot Technology Annex for sound systems research and development, a $25 million project completed in mid – 2004. An important part of CCG’s mission was to organize the relocation efforts of the engineering and functional departments and to integrate their activities for a smooth transition to the new location and prompt resumption of work.

Continental Custom Ingredients, Inc. – West Chicago to Sycamore, IL
Continental Custom Ingredients is an international leader in the design and production of ingredients and application systems for the food, beverage and dairy products industries (www.cci-us.net ). These products and systems impart the desired body, texture and shelf life stability to consumable products. CCI has received international acclaim from leading food manufacturers for innovative technical support and superior customer service.

Cavolick Consulting Group (CCG) was engaged to assist in the planning and execution of moving the group from two locations comprising 80,000 sq ft to the new facility of 200,000 sq ft, then under construction, with completion of phases during winter 2004 and spring 2005. Included in the move were Corporate HQ and staff, R&D, Pilot Plant, Consumable Products Production, Marketing, Public Service, and Distribution.

OmniBus Systems, Ltd. – Nottingham, UK and Nevada City, CA
OmniBus (www.omnibus.tv) is considered the world premier system for broadcast automation from lines-in transmission to remote camera control and satellite positioning. Awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Innovation) in 2000, Omnibus has designed and installed automation in nearly 100 countries, and helped create the world’s first tape-less digital television station.

Cavolick Consulting Group (CCG) was engaged to assist OmniBus, an international company, in relocating its US headquarters from California to Connecticut, including site selection, cost-of-living evaluations, and development of individual employee relocation plans.


Niven Marketing Group, Inc. – Bensenville to Carol Stream, IL
Niven Marketing Group (www.niven.net ) is an international award-winning leader in design and production of visionary retail environments and merchandising solutions. These products and systems assist clients in selling and differentiating their products at retail point of purchase (POP). Clients range from well-known national consumer and household product manufacturers to the largest national retail chains. The company is a regular recipient of industry awards for creativity and customer responsiveness. Niven has experienced rapid continuous growth and recently completed sale of the company to its employees through an ESOP.

Cavolick Consulting Group (CCG) was engaged to assist in planning and managing tenant improvements and occupancy of the new corporate facility encompassing 150,000 sq ft. Included in the buildout and move were facilities for Corporate HQ and staff, Creative Design and Engineering, Model Shop, Production/Assembly, Marketing, Client Services, and Receiving and National Distribution.


National Multiple Sclerosis Society - (Chicago – Greater Illinois Chapter)
This not-for-profit organization faced accelerated lease expiration, and chose to relocate its Corporate Office and its Event Development Facility to a new location in the Chicago Metropolitan area.

CCG assisted the Exec VP in planning all phases of the move including site selection, lease negotiation, construction, purchase of new phone system and coordination of move-in.

CCG also was directly responsible for integration and installation of the new phone system/voicemail, LAN/WAN, and the high-speed data lines for Intranet/Internet access.


Prudential Preferred Properties - Chicago, IL and Suburbs
A major new start-up residential real estate brokerage firm in the city of Chicago and suburbs, solidly backed by Prudential’s national resources. (www.prupref.com )

CCG was referred by industry sources to work with Prudential to meet state licensing requirements, then designed, constructed and simultaneously opened the headquarters and four initial sales offices in the city and North Shore suburbs.

CCG was called back to work with Prudential on special projects involving technology and business systems.
